Where Art Meets Curiosity: Gabi and Ema in KURIO Magazine
We’re thrilled to see two of our artists, Gabi Emmerich and Ema Ferreira, bringing their creativity to KURIO — a new bi-monthly magazine where science and art come together for “Kurious” kids aged 7–12.
Gabi and Ema’s distinctive styles and imaginative worlds are a perfect fit for KURIO’s mission to make learning visual, engaging, and full of wonder for their young readers. Their work helps children see science not just as facts and formulas, but as something that sparks their imaginations and encourages a lifelong love of learning.
Gabi illustrated a comical story, called "The Stowaway" about a small spider that finds itself trapped aboard the James Webb Space Telescope. Ema’s illustrations tell the story of Stella, a young girl who talks to the moon and her mission to help save the earth from destruction.
Through their work, Gabi and Ema show just how magical it can be when art and science spark curiosity together.
