Hello, I'm Gabi Emmerich, a Brazilian illustrator based in Curitiba, Paraná. My art dances between playful line-focused pieces and vibrant, colorful compositions. I mix traditional and digital techniques, infusing each project with elements of Brazilian nature and everyday life. What sets me apart is my curiosity and commitment to infusing humor and warmth into my work, reflecting my passion for storytelling and celebrating diversity. As a lesbian artist, I strive to amplify LGBTQIAP+ voices through my creations, a cause close to my heart.

From illustrating for projects like The Courage to Be Truly Free anti-homophobia campaign to contributing to the short film Odudua, my work has been recognized for its expressive style and emotional depth. Clients appreciate my organized approach, keen eye for color and composition, and ability to infuse narrative and emotion into every piece. With a background in Design and ongoing studies in illustration and creative writing, I bring a unique blend of skills to each project, ensuring a harmonious and impactful collaboration.

My creative journey is deeply rooted in my imaginative childhood, where drawing was my language. Influenced by Brazilian children's literature, iconic movies, and the wonders of nature, my illustrations reflect a blend of nostalgia and fresh perspectives. When not immersed in art, I cherish simple joys like walks in the park, quality time with loved ones, and seeking inspiration in nature and travel. Ultimately, my dream is to spread happiness through my art and be remembered as someone who lived a life filled with love and creativity.
