Brandon Isuiza Celebrates Peruvian Music through Illustration

Brandon Isuiza shares with us one of his latest projects, "Traveling Songs", a beautifully illustrated book of songs of Peruvian origin, created for the National Library of Peru. The collection features songs in indigenous languages, shining a light on Peru’s rich cultural heritage.

Brandon told us a bit more about this project: “This album compiles lyrics from songs that have crossed paths, times, and memories. Some of them are in indigenous languages, and reading them is like letting yourself be carried away by popular tradition. Now the lyrics have found a new home in this book.”

This project is a wonderful example of how illustration can help preserve and celebrate traditions, keeping them alive for future generations.

We always love seeing our illustrators celebrate their cultures and identities. Brandon has done a fantastic job with this project in collaboration with such an important institution.
