Vy Khanh Tran

Vy Tran is an illustrator based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where she lives with her family. Inspired by Japanese manga from a young age, she filled her home with paintings and comic sketches. Though she first studied hotel management to meet societal expectations, Vy eventually followed her dream of becoming an illustrator and found a true passion for children’s picture books. She loves drawing expressive children, nature full of flowers and trees, and cozy homes filled with tiny details; like a hidden cat or a bee landing on on a flower. Vy mainly works digitally, sometimes using watercolor, and in her free time, she enjoys being with her family and caring for her plants.
