Hey there! I'm Vibha Surya, a digital artist hailing from the coastal city of Chennai, now based in Bangalore, India. With a unique style blending digital art with traditional mediums using Procreate and Photoshop, I've crafted visuals for over 35 books, partnering with industry giants like Penguin Random House, Hachette, Scholastic and more. When I'm not immersed in the world of art, you can find me urban sketching with my local group or indulging in the calming crafts of crochet and weaving, thanks to my background in textiles.

My creative journey has seen me shine brightly, with one of my picture books making it to the coveted shortlist for 'Best Picture Book - Illustration' at the Bangalore Literature Festival 2024. Working with Hachette on a Young Adult book revolving around Indian Astrology was a highlight, where I infused modernity into traditional themes. Known for my prowess in time management, color palettes, and adding quirky humor to my work, I bring characters to life through detailed character studies and captivating storyboards.

Embracing my Tamil heritage and navigating a world as a dyslexic left-hander, I draw inspiration from the vivid colors of nature, infusing warmth and kindness into my creations. Whether volunteering, sketching urban landscapes, or whipping up new recipes in the kitchen, I find joy in spreading positivity through my art.
