Taarika Ravi John

I’m a neurodivergent illustrator and writer from the coastal town of Kochi, India. I grew up surrounded by music, art, and books, so it was inevitable I’d start drawing and writing soon after learning to hold a pencil. Books helped me navigate the world and feel less alone. I see art as a way to document life - what I see, think, feel, and observe. I hold an MFA from SVA, New York. I draw digitally and traditionally, and never go anywhere without my sketchbook.
