Sian began her career as a freelance Illustrator in 2012 after completing an MA in Fine Art at Aberystwyth University. She now works from her home studio in Herefordshire. She is inspired each day by the beautiful countryside, the people she meets on dog walks, and her two young children. Sian is passionate about creating Illustrations that deliver a positive message. She loves to work on projects with nature, imagination, and inclusivity at their heart. She enjoys running a weekly sketchbook club in her local school and she gets to hear the best stories! In recent years Sian has been creating work digitally as well as working in watercolour, ink, and pencil, as she endeavours to capture the energy and feeling that happens in an initial sketch. She has never lost the excited feeling she would get as a child in picking up a pencil- almost like she had the potential to create something magical.
