Sam grew up in Brighton, UK and has spent the best part of the past decade living and travelling in Asia, consequently now draws much inspiration from the far east along with a curiosity for science fiction and the natural world. As a child Sam had great adoration for Hanna Barbera cartoons, the personality and stylisation of the characters is something he can see aspects of in his work today. Skateboard graphics, street art & graffiti became the next visual infatuations which led Sam on his way to an Art Foundation course at Brighton City College. Then later going on to graduate with a degree in Illustration BA (Hons) from Camberwell College of Arts London in 2009. Sam has now worked for design studios all over the world, creating artwork that has been used in publishing, apparel, advertising and directing explainer animations for global NGOs and organisations.
