Pino Cao

Pino Cao is a nature-loving artist who lives in Mississauga, Canada. Born with a lifelong passion for both science and art, Pino creates artworks with great combination of both. Her Chinese heritage also brings unique touches to her works by using limited color palette with traditional ink art style.She is skilled in both traditional and digital media. Pino has a background in civil engineering, but she chose to follow her passion for art and design that she had since childhood. Since 2020, Pino has published picture and chapter books with collaborations of varies publishers. Her fine arts has been include in public art fairs and art exhibitions. Besides those, Pino also actively collaborates with local government for public art creations. Pino’s dream project is to illustrate a children's series about science, blending her engineering insights with her nature inspired art style. She's equally passionate about translating interesting Chinese old fairytales to English version picture books using her great storytelling skills and her unique art style.
