Lauren (Lo) Harris specializes in motion design, illustration and video production for digital platforms. After graduating from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 2018, she's created graphics and illustrations for a variety of brands and publications including, but not limited to, The New York Times, Bustle, Amazon Prime Video and Cosmopolitan. As part of this piece, Lo added that she saw a lot of non-Black artists who became famous for producing art about Black pain during the early weeks of protests, people who neglected to acknowledge Black artists who were doing art, but getting less attention.
