As a child, she was fascinated by illustrations in books and comics but originally started a career in the software industry before pursuing her passion for illustration. As a self-taught artist, Koustubha is constantly inspired by the work of fellow artists. Their talent and creativity drive her to create and improve more. In her illustrations, Koustubha tries to express the emotions of each character, to create a connection with her work and the audience. As a digital illustrator, Koustubha prefers to illustrate in Procreate and enjoys listening to podcasts about ancient history or aliens while working.
