Hello, I’m Kim Dong Hoon, a talented artist born in Korea and currently residing in Sejong City. Specializing in creating heartwarming illustrations of children, cute animals, and nature, I bring these subjects to life using a blend of Photoshop and Corel Painter. With a background in picture book production, my strength lies in crafting engaging scenarios that evoke genuine emotions, often infused with a touch of humor. Drawing inspiration from everyday experiences like movies, music, and photographs, I channel these influences into my art, making each piece uniquely relatable.

Most of my artistic endeavors revolve around picture books, where I thrive when the storyline aligns with my preferred style of illustration. This synergy ensures the best possible outcomes, a sentiment echoed by the positive feedback I receive for my exceptional expressiveness and directorial skills. Graduating with a degree in industrial design, I have honed my craft over two decades in the picture book industry. Through meticulous scene composition and a keen eye for detail, I meticulously bring narratives to life, supplementing and enhancing visuals with thoughtful sketching and coloring techniques.

My artistic journey began in elementary school, where my passion for drawing blossomed, leading me to win numerous accolades in various competitions. When not immersed in art, I enjoy leisurely walks and cherish moments spent with my loving family, which includes my wife, two children, and a delightful Persian cat.
