Karina Cocq

Karina is a Chilean illustrator born alongside the Andes Mountains. She migrated to Barcelona, where she built her family and currently works in editorial illustration, as well as creating educational materials and collaborating with NGOs.

Her work, also shaped by the experience of migration, is mainly aimed at children and seeks to broaden perspectives, open doors to new realities, and highlight the connection between people and nature. She has a deep sensitivity toward neurodivergence, a subject close to both her family and her own experience. She sees illustration as a powerful tool for creating dialogue and opening spaces for connection and representation.
