Daniella Gyambibi-Peters

I'm free to collaborate!

Daniella Gyambibi-Peters is a Ghanaian-Irish illustrator, based in London, UK.Dani's work generally features themes of positivity, self-love and black empowerment… and LOTS of colour. She believes that art holds a lot of power to create change on both a small and large scale. This is what drives her passion to create art that people can see themselves in and relate to. She has worked on projects for Ted Baker and Creative Mentor Network alongside others, and is proud to have had art exhibited at Acrylicize in London, as well as the JCCC Art and Design Studio in the US through the Pick Progress Project. One of Dani's recent projects commemorates Nina Simone on what would have been her 90th birthday. Dani was self-taught. Her illustration journey started when a friend encouraged me to upload some of her art to Instagram. In a world that can be so negative, particularly for black people and people of colour, Dani is passionate about making art that helps people to feel seen and heard. Her dream projects would be any project to do with black empowerment, self love or self care.
