Danica Da Silva Pereira

Danica is a passionate advocate for diversity, social justice, and environmental causes. As an illustrator, educator, and designer, she strives to create work that is both meaningful and inclusive. Originally from the lush landscapes of Goa, India, her deep connection to the ethnic intricacies and traditions of her homeland profoundly shapes her artistic style.

Now based in the UK, Danica specialises in children's book illustration, using visual storytelling to communicate non-fiction narratives. She holds an MA in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art (2020). A large focus of her work is on educating the reader by communicating research and complex concepts through illustration.
