Benzhen Sung

BenZhen is a Chinese-American illustrator from Los Angeles, California who loves to draw stylized humans and capture emotional nuances in human interactions. Deeply influenced by her family's immigrant background, BenZhen is inspired by the hardscrabble, lived experiences of real individuals. She seeks joy in portraying specifics - props, clothing, body language, etc - that niche cultural audiences can readily recognize.

Led by her Christian faith, BenZhen ultimately seeks to make art grounded in her beliefs, relaying hope by depicting wonder, friendship, sacrifice, and other timeless themes people everywhere can relate to.
