Anita Bagdi

Anita is a Hungarian born and raised, award winning digital illustrator, living in Bournemouth, the sunniest part of UK. Since she remembers, she's been admiring visual storytelling in all things books, illustrations, movies and animations. Libraries, bookstores and exhibitions always were her favourite places. Anita has worked for multiple publishers and creates child friendly art for climate campaigns.

She is a Mum of two wonderful neurodivergent girls, with whom she experiences how easily one can step into worlds through storytelling. She also learnt how being different can add never-ending wonder and curiosity to children's lives, alongside some challenges. This inspires her to tell meaningful stories and create work for missing voices, to help children become more confident in themselves.
