Alysha Dawn Puopolo

Alysha Dawn Puopolo is a Canadian illustrator specializing in maps, children’s illustration, and large-scale murals. Though she enjoys simplicity, Alysha is also passionate about detail in her work, ensuring the viewer can discover something new with every glance. Alysha is passionate about addressing children's education, women's empowerment, wellness, and mental health awareness. Some projects she has worked on in these areas include an illustrated map of mental health resources for youth in Ottawa, illustrated assets for a children’s Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) app, and a magazine spread focusing on the importance of outdoor learning for children. Alysha has also enjoyed commercial collaborations, including murals and maps to launch new initiatives by recognized brands such as Adidas, Uniqlo, Bissell, and the Rogers Centre. Her client list also includes Princeton University, Target, Indigo, and more. Her illustrations have been featured in the American Illustration Archive. She would love to work on more books that inspire children, such as her original reference book The Book of Everything, which encourages imagination and curiosity.
