Valeria spent her childhood in the north of Italy surrounded by pencils, markers and comics. After graduating at Milan's Fine Arts Academy, she left her hometown for a one-year long adventure in Japan. In Tokyo, her small room was packed full of books, because love for art and stories has always been a constant in her life.
Once back in Italy, she got a graphic design master's degree in IED and started her career. While she worked as a designer for communication agencies and big multinational companies, her passion for illustration and its study kept growing until it became her current job. Valeria thinks that irony saved her life many times, so she made it a key ingredient of her illustration style, together with plain colours and graphic patterns.
