Pontus Arvåsen is a visual artist from Gothenburg Sweden. His creative career started as a product designer and photographer with drawing as a hobby. During his time as Global Lead Designer at Hasselblad Cameras he developed his drawing skills and he became more and more connected to the sketching itself. It felt like more then “just”a means to an end product. After a sabatical period it stood clear that going further into the fine art and illustration field was the way forward. He has a narrative style revolving around nature, animals and our planet. “I strive for multifaceted decorative illustrations which can reach inside and tickle our imagination. I want to remind us that there's something we as humans are missing and we need to open up and listen. This is the great power of art, to reach the inner core and make sure the door stays open” He lives with his wife Anni, their two sons, a horse a dog a rabbit and a hamster.
