Carolina Altavilla is an Illustrator, designer and art director from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires, currently working as a professional illustrator for digital and print publications, magazines and books. Additionally, Carolina illustrates for animations, posters, and products. Since childhood, she felt passionate about art and communication, expressing great interest in drawing the world around her. That is the reason why, at an early age, she attended mixed arts classes and later on illustration workshops with renowned artists. Her illustrations visualise universes in which the characters have strong personalities and boldness in a context where everything is possible. Surrealism and expressionism mixed with current trends as well as the complexity of botany are amongst her biggest inspirations. She is a member of a number of illustrator groups, participated in various exhibitions and urban street art interventions on causes that make her heart vibrate.
