Guillaume Cornet is a Parisian born artist and illustrator living in East London with his partner and two black cats.
Having studied Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, he went on to travel around Central & South America and lived in Lima and Barcelona where he became intrigued by the organic architecture style of the cities and the people living in them.
“As an Illustrator, I have always worked with Characters to communicate my inner thoughts, ideas, emotions and situations. At some point I wanted to create an environment for my creatures to grow, a place where I could let my imagination conquer the entire paper.”
He is known for his meticulously detailed, hand-drawn scenes packed with thousands of things to spot. His latest Children’s book ‘Elephants On Tour’, brings together 16 cities teaming with humorous scenes of everyday lives and bizarre situations.
